Testimonials

  • They consistently rose above their initial engagement as our geotech investigators and as a result of their excellence, we engaged them as our “owner’s” site representative throughout the testing and inspection process. Throughout the project, we were impressed with the quality of their work, the professionalism of their personnel and their continued engagement throughout the project. They provided an invaluable service beyond their contracted construction guidance; they passionately engaged as a team member in a true collaborative sense and served the Owner by consistently looking out for our best interest and communicated with us beyond the ‘industry standard.

  • TTL has been a vital part of the project delivery team for the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center project. My firm, KLMK Group, has performed Consulting/Project advisory services for the Phoebe Putney Health System for several years. TTL has also performed geotechnical, environmental and construction services on two other recent sizeable projects. We value the responsive and client based approach of TTL’s employees. We appreciate TTL’s professionalism and the invaluable assistance their services have provided to us.

  • In 2008, the city of Nashville decided to move forward with the development of a state of the art convention center. The $585 million project consisted of a 350,000 SF exhibit hall, 60 meeting rooms, two ballrooms and 1,800 structured parking spaces among other improvements. It sits on six city blocks. Once TTL was identified as the successful respondent, they negotiated terms for their scope of work, which included a geotechnical investigation, environmental investigation of existing structures and sites, daily excavation observations, concrete testing, construction observation, special inspections, and structural steel testing. During the design phase, TTL provided very timely information to the structural engineer and other design professionals in a manner that facilitated the ambitious design scheduling goals for the project…

From the beginning until the end of construction, TTL and their teammates exhibited a can-do attitude under challenging conditions. For example, the building presented some unique geometries for the inspection of structural welds. TTL often was called upon to inspect these during evening, nights, and weekends to keep the project on schedule.
