We assist our clients in implementing cost effective quality assurance programs
for construction and developing cost-saving approaches to construction challenges
posed by site conditions and geotechnical restraints. TTL recently
designed and monitored installation of the first Load Transfer Platform constructed
in the State of Alabama.

Shear Wave Testing for Seismic Design:
Recent changes in the International Building
Code adopted by most local governing bodies requires the geotechnical engineer
to determine the site seismic classification. This analysis can have a significant
impact on the structural design costs for a building project. TTL
can perform a geophysical analysis of the shallow subsurface soils that can
frequently allow an improvement of the code requirements, thus effecting a more
economical structural design, and in many cases allow an owner to realize a
substantial saving in construction costs. TTL
has invested in the equipment and technology that permits us to quickly and
unobtrusively assess the site specific seismic response and determine the seismic
shear wave velocities at the site.
