    BS or MS (preferred) in Civil Engineering

    Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

    Effective communication and organizational skills.



    Perform the following engineering tasks and duties under the direction, supervision, and subject to review by a registered professional engineer: testing of soils and materials for estimation of the adequacy and strength of building foundations, retaining structures, bridges, and culverts; slope stability analysis; evaluation of project feasibility through estimates of the quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor; analysis of survey reports, maps, drawings and other topographical and geological data; engineering evaluation of load and grade requirements; planning and design of transportation systems and structures in accordance with construction and government standards; preparation of proposals based on detailed technical assessment and determination of the projects’ scope and price; preparation of geotechnical reports.



    Minimum Education and Experience:
    High School Diploma required (College degree or coursework preferred).
    Additional Experience or Skills:
    Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Able to prepare technical reports. Strong mathematical skills and science knowledge. This position requires heavy, physical labor in an outdoor environment. Nights and weekends may be required.


  • Marketing Assistant

    Location: San Antonio, TX


    The Marketing Assistant supports sales and marketing efforts in San Antonio.   He/she will have principal responsibility for preparing submissions for high quality proposals, qualification packages and other collateral as requested, in collaboration with business development and project teams. He/she will also help manage the marketing communications efforts in alignment with business development and marketing plans.


    Responsibilities include:

    In charge of developing and providing graphic design for marketing materials, large-scale proposals, special projects, presentations, newsletters, press releases, award submittals and other collateral materials directly related to specific client and project pursuits.

    Works directly with senior level technical staff to prepare proposal materials, including writing, editing, verifying and formatting proposal information (content clarity, compliance and key messages).

    Organize presentation rehearsals.

    Client database management, maintaining project files and supplies of promotional materials.

    Assist in organizing client events for the company.

    Developing and maintaining a database of project summaries, photos, etc. from past projects.

    Track and monitor existing contract renewal dates to ensure adequate lead time in developing submittals for contract renewal.



    Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Business or equivalent work experience

    3-5 years of experience in business-to-business marketing and/or marketing communications, advertising or public relations

    Demonstrated experience using the following software/programs/platforms: Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)

    WordPress platform

    Social Media platforms (Facebook for business, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.)

    Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, must be able to assess information that may at times be incomplete and recommend possible solutions.

    Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize projects; self-starter. Ability to think strategically, creatively and independently.


    Ideal experience & skills

    • Business-minded, creative, graphic design professional accustomed to working in the A/E/C industry whose content, layouts, and visuals tell a story while maintaining a brand. Experience in production design, including pre-press and multiple media types including online presence through website and social media.  Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
  • Survey Crew Chief

    Location: Nashville, TN

    Description: The Survey Crew Chief will work in the field collecting data for plats and topographic surveys using GPS or Robotic Total Station. He / She will evaluate property boundary information and verify that information in the field. They will also work in the office to help prepare drawings which represent the data collected. Some construction stake-out may be required as part of the job responsibility.


    • Experience with AutoCad and Civil 3D
    • Experience in surveying, data collection and layout using GPS and Robotic Total Station
    • Experience evaluating deeds and boundary information
    • Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing
    • Good driving record
    • Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs
    • Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
