  • Experienced Natural Resources Professional – Alabama

    Description:

    • Field delineation of US waters and preparation of reports.  Must be capable of leading field crews of less experienced personnel.

     

    • Prepare US Corps of Engineers (USACE) permit applications for impacts to streams and wetlands and notifications for nationwide and individual USACE permits with limited supervision.

     

    • Conduct habitat surveys for threatened and endangered species and coordinate with US Fish and Wildlife Service. Must have experience in stream and wetland mitigation and restoration.

     

    Requirements

    • BS or MS (preferred) in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field
    • 8+ years of work experience:
    • US Waters delineation
    • US Corps of Engineers (USACE) permitting
    • Experience operating GPS equipment (GIS preferred)

    ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification

    Testing experience in soil, concrete, earthwork, and asphalt is strongly desired. Inspection experience and/or ACI/ICC/NICET certifications (reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, etc) is strongly desired.

     

    Description:

    Performs routine field and laboratory tests and inspections for the purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications.

    Monitors, observes, and samples the materials used in construction work.

    Follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintains cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.

    Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Operates with close to moderate supervision.

    Typical activities include, but are not limited to: observation and monitoring of backfilling of subgrades, installation of reinforcing, fresh concrete sampling, base stone, and asphalt densities.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

    VALDOSTA, GA

     

    Minimum Education and Experience:

    Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. College coursework or degree preferred. Emphasis in physical sciences and/or math.

    1-3 years of previous experience as an Environmental Technician OR recent college graduate.

    Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.

    Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

    Experience with AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS.

    Ability to travel overnight, extended on occasions.

    Performs maintenance on remediation systems.

    Follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintains cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.

    Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Operates with close to moderate supervision.

    Typical activities include, but are not limited to: map reading, maintain chain-of-custody forms, utilize equipment to measure field parameters, environmental site inspections, field inspections or drilling access and general utility clearance.

     

  • ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

  • Safety Officer

    Location is in San Antonio, TX; Nashville, TN; or Tuscaloosa, AL

    Description

    • Manage & maintain comprehensive H&S programs at all offices and jobsites
    • Provide guidance on H&S requirements and confirm company, industry and regulatory guidelines are met
    • Aid company personnel in developing site safety plans
    • Train / Inspect personnel in the use of Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
