Job Title: GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
Summary:
Evaluate site and soil conditions on various projects using standard field and
laboratory testing methods. Identify and define scope, techniques and price
for project proposals. Promote consistently accurate and timely client and management
communications. Resolve technical problems independently. Make technical recommendations
and decisions within project scope. Work includes analysis and report writing
for landslide (slope stability analysis), building foundations (piles, piers,
expansive soils), retaining structures, highway structures.
Minimum Education and Experience:
BS in Civil Engineering, MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
Additional Skills and/or Requirements:
2-5 years related professional experience. P.E. or E.I.T preferred.
